The big end bearing kit (also referred to as the conrod bearing kit) provides the bearing shells between the connecting rod big end and the crankshaft crankpin journal, forming the primary load-bearing interface in the reciprocating assembly. Worn or failed big end bearings typically present as audible knocking under load, falling oil pressure, or visible metal contamination in the oil. KRP3023 is the standard (STD) size kit for the Perkins 2206 series variants listed below.

The KRP3023 is a standard-size connecting rod bearing. ZEB Power also offers two optional sizes:
KRP3023/051 — (-)0.51 mm undersize (for reground crankshaft)

FAQ
1. Will KRP3023 fit my 2206C-E13TAG2 or 2206D-E13TAG2?
Yes. The A/C/D emissions tier suffix does not affect big end bearing specification within the 2206 TAG2 series. Confirm your Build List is listed in the compatibility table above before ordering.
2. How do I know if I need STD size or an undersize variant?
Measure the crankpin journal diameter before ordering. If the crankshaft is standard and unground, KRP3023 (STD) applies. If the crankshaft has been reground, measure the journal and contact us with the measurement to confirm KRP3023/051 or KRP3023/076.
3. How many bearing shells are included in one kit?
KRP3023 contains 6 pairs (12 shells total), covering all six cylinders of the 2206 series engine.
4. Is this a genuine Perkins OEM part or an aftermarket replacement?
This is a genuine Perkins OEM part supplied through an authorized first-tier distributor. No aftermarket substitutes are supplied under this listing.
5. What are the symptoms of worn big end bearings?
Common indicators include rhythmic knocking under load, reduced oil pressure at operating temperature, and metallic particles visible in the oil at service. If any of these are present, inspect the crankpin journal surface before fitting new bearings.
6. What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 7-10 days from order confirmation. Contact us for urgent requirements.
7. What export documents are provided?
Standard export documentation includes commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin. Additional documents available upon request.
